Here is the agenda for our Business Meeting on Thursday, January 11, 2024 at 6:30 PM.  

We are eating/meeting at St John Vianney and on Zoom.

There is one warning related to advance food purchase for Lenten Fish Fry in the amount of $1500.    

Please join us for dinner provided by Jay Benson, Pete Gadue and Dave Martin at 5:30 PM. 

Note: Our opening prayer will be Vespers. 

We will have a presentation to Joshua Beaupre AKA Rudolph before the meeting. 

Please note the next Holy Hour will be on FEB 2, 2024.

Our next Bingo is January 18, 2024.

Our fourth COR Formation will be on JAN 20, 2023.

Council Form 1728 Annual Survey of Fraternal activity due to Supreme NLT 31 JAN 24. Please complete your Individual Survey Form 1728a ASAP but not later 28 JAN. (If you cannot print or fill out the form, just send me the hours and categories. Indicate Council or Assembly hours)

Note: I will need the total donations by category too for the Council roll-up.

JAN 28 Breakfast at St Jude. Need set-up, cooks, and clean-up help.

FEB 16 Fish Fry. Jay Benson needs set-up, cooks, and clean-up help.

Next home-cooked dinner is February 8. Volunteers?    

Bingo is JAN 18. Ray needs lots of help; including on cash register in Dick Labrecque' absence.

COR Formation is JAN 20 at 10 AM with Coffee and donuts.

Prayer for Canonization of Blessed Michael McGivney

God, our Father, protector of the poor and defender of the widow and orphan, you called your priest, Blessed Michael McGivney, to be an apostle of Christian family life and to lead the young to the generous service of their neighbor. Through the example of his life and virtue, may we follow your Son, Jesus Christ, more closely, fulfilling his commandment of charity and building up his Body which is the Church. Let the inspiration of your servant prompt us to greater confidence in your love so that we may continue his work of caring for the needy and the outcast. We humbly ask that you glorify Blessed Michael McGivney on earth according to the design of your holy will. Through his intercession, grant the favor I now present (our sick or in distress). Through Christ our Lord. Amen.
