Installation of State Officers is August 15th, 2021 after the 10 AM Mass at St. Joseph's Cathedral.

Anchor Award honoring our Chaplain, Fr. Tim Naples is September 3rd at 6 PM at the Delta Hotel in South Burlington, VT. Please RSVP and send in your check and menu choices. 

Many of you are still 1st or 2nd Degree Knights. Please go to Kofc.org/ceremonials and select the On-Demand Exemplification. In half an hour you will be a third-degree Knight. (Let the GK and FS know)

WARNINGS

1.       Vote to accept new member, Chris Johnson to the Council.

2.       Vote to accept amended Council By-Laws

3.       Vote to reimburse SJV $350 for tent rental in support of Parish BBQ. 

Other Business

Keep Christ in Christmas:  Jay Benson has looked at both locations and is beginning the work.

PSD, PGK Don Sutton Porch has been done by Worthy Warden Jay Benson.

Need to install our stone in front of SJV-going to need site work, base preparation, and movement.

Need to determine our contribution to sign repair at SJV (ST Jude signs also need attention)

Welcome back Breakfast at SJV post-COVID-19 restrictions and ongoing.

Holy Hour (requirement is quarterly with exposition of Blessed Sacrament and a Scripture Rosary.)

Proposal for monthly with rotation among 4 Parishes. Can we support? (Knights would lead the Rosary and read the scriptures)

 

CCD Breakfasts and dinners in support of St Jude/OLMC program. Can we support?

 

Fund raiser for Intellectual Disabilities (Tootsie Roll) Parishes only?

Prayer for Canonization of Blessed Michael McGivney

God, our Father, protector of the poor and defender of the widow and orphan, you called your priest, Blessed Michael McGivney, to be an apostle of Christian family life and to lead the young to the generous service of their neighbor. Through the example of his life and virtue, may we follow your Son, Jesus Christ, more closely, fulfilling his commandment of charity and building up his Body which is the Church. Let the inspiration of your servant prompt us to greater confidence in your love so that we may continue his work of caring for the needy and the outcast. We humbly ask that you glorify Blessed Michael McGivney on earth according to the design of your holy will. Through his intercession, grant the favor I now present (here make your request). Through Christ our Lord. Amen.
