Here is the Agenda for our Business Meeting on Thursday at 8 PM. We will have pizza and salad starting at 6 PM. At 7 PM we have an Exemplification of new members and a chance for 1st and 2nd degree members to advance to 3rd degree. Let us know if you will be here for pizza so we have enough.

Installation of Council/District 3 Officers will be 16 October after the 4 PM Mass at Saint Joseph's Cathedral.    

Our Council continues to conduct a First Friday Holy Hour from 3-4 PM at SJV. We lead the scriptural Rosary during Benediction. The next Holy Hour will be NOV 5 from 3-4 PM. 

Collection for People with Intellectual Disabilities (Tootsie Roll) went well. We collected $1,617.48. We need to vote on where to send the net proceeds. 

Age Well is looking for volunteers to deliver Meals On Wheels. See Newsletter for details. 

The Budget Committee is finally going to meet on 27 OCT at 5 PM at SJV. 

Our Worthy Treasurer is back at home and starting to cook the books again. Hopefully we will all be able to dine on a delicious menu of reports soon.

November 13 is the Vermont K of C Day of Prayer for Clergy. Please join us from 12-1 PM at SJV.

We have Chris Johnson for exemplification on Thursday at 7 PM. Kevin Limoge is having many difficulties and is unable to attend. Please keep him and his nephew Chad, who was recently in a sever motorcycle accident, in your prayers.   Ray Bouchard is looking to advance from 2nd to 3rd Degree.

1.  Keep Christ in Christmas:  Jay Benson has looked at both locations and is beginning the work.

2.  Need to install our stone in front of SJV-going to need site work, base preparation, and movement.

3.  Need to determine our contribution to sign repair at SJV (ST Jude signs also need attention)

4.  Summer shirts with Logo and name are in. GK has asked Jay to get a price for Aprons for use when we are cooking…

5.  Fr Tim’s Knights for Life 50 Rosary Campaign. (Sign up through our website (kofcvt.org) or directly to Fr. Tim’s blog (ubipetrusvt.com)

Prayer for Canonization of Blessed Michael McGivney

God, our Father, protector of the poor and defender of the widow and orphan, you called your priest, Blessed Michael McGivney, to be an apostle of Christian family life and to lead the young to the generous service of their neighbor. Through the example of his life and virtue, may we follow your Son, Jesus Christ, more closely, fulfilling his commandment of charity and building up his Body which is the Church. Let the inspiration of your servant prompt us to greater confidence in your love so that we may continue his work of caring for the needy and the outcast. We humbly ask that you glorify Blessed Michael McGivney on earth according to the design of your holy will. Through his intercession, grant the favor I now present (here make your request). Through Christ our Lord. Amen.
