Scholarship Fund Balance for Catholic Education

The Council Archie Myers Memorial  Scholarship in the amount of $1,500 was not awarded this year. There were no qualified applicants. In the past we have simply carried the amount into the next year. There have been past discussions, but no passed motions to use the money for a Catholic School in need, or roll it over into next year and increase the amount. Our Chaplain proposes we issue the full amount of allocated scholarship money to St Paul’s School in Barton, VT where he served as Pastor. Will the council support this educational use of the scholarship money in Archie Myers name?
